June marked the end of the stint with Nomura and I decided to accompany James to the Ukelele movement.
Pretty far walk from the Lavendar's MRT station. Did I mention enjoyable?
James trying out the rubber picks with his ukelele.
We had cake from the first floor's cafe. The apple crumble wasn't great but the company made up for it.
James and his all time derpy smile. Thank you for your constant encouragement, help and quirky personality. Hope you become a famous Architect one day.
Thought the menu was innovative but lacking in details.
Cool ice cream storage box. Loved the colours. Didn't try because the flavours were weird :/
It called "Popaganda" btw, cute.
It's amazing how James clicks with strangers. We met a really nice old man at the Ukelele shop and walked back with him. Sometimes it's just really nice to know how things are going on the other side.
There's a lot of greenery around that area. It was a nice change from the typical concrete jungle.
That's how empty the roads are.
Funny how time flies when you're really having fun. Met some really awesome people during that short month in NAEF. It was nice to know that not all offices are the same. I don't expect work life to be easy. In fact, I'm fearful but I understand now. I shouldn't let these things affect me and learn to adapt in these situations.
Lunch with Tiffany and Jenny at Kuriya!
Planned to eat light because I was reaaally craving Gelare's Cookie Dough ice cream (Only finding out later that it was out of stock :/)
Psychedelic Jenny, one of my most trustworthy friends. PERIOD. Pulled me through so much shite in the last 3 years.
Ever talented Tiffany. We've had some pretty crazy moments too.
Chocolate mint ice cream with waffle and cream. Was still upset about not having cookie dough.
Hung out in woodlands library. Sitting on the floor acting all bad ass and shite.
Jenny's cute shoes :)
AND THEN ... back to Gelares' because Ganesh was working and sweet enough to treat <3
Ice cream latte.
Met the family for dinner @ a Yishun hawker centre (Mum's ultra cool specs)
Family gossip mongers? I don't know.
Honestly cannot imagine myself working in hawker centres. Not because I'm conceited but because I don't think I'd survive like these people.
Dinner is served. Yam Ring with Seafood.
Leaves of potato? (gotta check) Blachan style
PAI GU WONG. (Is that how it's spelled?) Best I've ever eaten!
Salted egg prawns. I've stopped liking it. It's too heavy for my liking.
Lunch date with Sam and Edwin! <3
Can't believe we survived a year of Volleyball in NP.
(credits to Sam for the picture)
Ate at Hot Tomato! Cheap and not too shabby food.
My Seafood Aglio Olio.
Both of them picked the Steak Aglio Olio.
Starbucks afterwards. Orange Jasmine tea was the logical choice out of the other weird concoctions but sadly, tasted horrible. Should always stick to coffee in Starbucks.
James Morrison - I won't let you go.
If there's love just feel it.
If there's life we'll feel it.
This is no time to be alone.
I won't let you go.
xoxo
